Leandro Mofacto Pena is a name respected in football. A professional player from 1993 to 2017, he competed across Brazil and Europe before transforming his international experience into a single mission: to develop complete athletes — not just players. From that vision, L9 Soccer Center was born.

From the Pitch to a Purpose
For more than two decades, Leandro played professionally in Brazil and Europe, competing in demanding leagues and absorbing different football cultures. Time in Italy and Switzerland gave him a global view of the game — one that now shapes how he coaches, combining South American intensity and creativity with European tactical organization and discipline.
Certified as a football monitor by the CBF and as a coach by FERJ, Leandro brings both elite playing experience and formal education to every session. After coaching in Massachusetts, he founded L9 Soccer Center to build a modern, high-performance development method for young athletes.
At L9, the work goes far beyond technique. Discipline, winning mentality, teamwork, respect and leadership are trained every day — using soccer as a tool for personal transformation and real opportunity, including pathways to college and professional soccer. With former Brazilian international Zé Roberto as Official Ambassador, L9 continues to grow as one of the region's most promising athlete-development projects.
